Margit Brandt, Premier Estate Properties senior luxury real estate advisor, has garnered a whopping $400 million in sales throughout the past two years—and she is not stopping there. Among her array of hard-earned accolades, Brandt has been ranked the No. 1 individual (non-team) at Premier Estate Properties (Christie’s International Real Estate), has been ranked fifth by sales volume overall in Palm Beach, 15th in the state of Florida and 66th in the nation by RealTrends and The Wall Street Journal in 2023.

“Helping people get to their ‘yes’ is the most rewarding part of the job,” says Brandt. “When we first start interacting with a client, everything is very aspirational. There is a journey we go on with each client, and getting them from A to Z in the most positive way possible is what we work for.”

At only 35 years old, Brandt is one of the few female realtors under the age of 40 who have earned a title in the top 100 real estate agents in the country and stands as the only agent under 40 to be ranked in the top five market producers in Palm Beach.

Brandt first got her start in the real estate industry over 10 years ago, working as an entry-level Corcoran Group assistant on the Upper East Side of New York City. Today, she has made her mark on South Florida and is continuing to expand her reach to provide her luxury clientele with trustworthy advocacy, unwavering support and advanced expertise on local development, investment, negotiation, branding and more.

“My advice to up-and-coming brokers would be to start as early as you can, to have a level of patience and perseverance that might be beyond what you would expect and to understand that real estate is not a hobbyist industry,” says Brandt. “To succeed, you must be professional, dedicated and offer clients unique value like in any other industry. Don’t be fooled by all the fun Instagram Reels and TikToks; doing this job well takes important alliances, lots of time, significant ability and lots of hard work.”

Since Brandt and her husband, Blair, first started visiting the Hamptons nearly a decade ago, the couple fell in love with the area. Each summer, they return with their family to embark on beachside adventures, boating excursions and trips to their favorite dining destinations.

“After getting married and starting to have kids in 2017, we spent a few summers in Nantucket and, after about five years, we found ourselves back here this summer in East Hampton,” says Brandt. “This neck of the woods is becoming a part of the fabric of our lives.”

From her humble beginnings in the NYC market to her staggering growth since 2017 in Palm Beach—one of the most competitive and ultraluxury real estate markets on the planet— Brandt has gracefully and skillfully navigated two entirely different real estate landscapes. The similarities, Brandt says, span comparative lifestyles, price points, development priorities, overlaps in clientele and a fierce attention to detail, along with a consistent emphasis on quality.

“The Hamptons is known for this traditional, darker, Northeastern architecture, whereas Palm Beach has really been developed more into British West Indies styles to mirror the tropical vibe there,” says Brandt. “Having that dichotomy is what attracts a lot of Palm Beach residents to spend summers in the Hamptons and vice versa. It’s like living in two totally different worlds and it is a true change of scenery to stimulate the senses.”

Recent successful sales represented by Brandt have included a trilevel townhouse at 219 Brazilian Ave. in Midtown Palm Beach Island for $18.9 million; a tropical family home at 224 Via Marila on Palm Beach Island for $10.9 million; and a luxury Palm Beach residence at 1741 S. Ocean Blvd. on the Intracoastal’s Estate Section—which closed for an astounding $25 million.

With nearly a third of her overall activity happening off market, nonetheless, Brandt has recently announced a Palm Beach public listing located at 1125 S. Ocean Blvd., situated on the exclusive Billionaire’s Row on the island’s Estate Section. Nestled directly on the sand on a sprawling 20,000-squarefoot lot, the eight-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot home features a seaside pool, access to the adjacent beach club and more.

“We have a few off-market listings that are currently being offered privately this summer, but that we will be launching publicly this fall and winter,” Brandt shares, “including a few that are sure to attract some fresh attention to the Palm Beach market.”
